His personal experiences with loss, combined with his professional training, allow him to connect with clients on a deeply empathetic level, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and validated in their grief.

Mike offers one-on-one counselling to support pet owners through every stage of loss:

🐾 Before Saying Goodbye – Helping clients prepare emotionally for the passing of a pet, process anticipatory grief, and make difficult end-of-life decisions with compassion and clarity.

🌈 After Loss Support – Providing grief counselling, coping strategies, and guidance on honouring a pet’s memory in meaningful ways.

As a co-founder of Repploy Counselling & ASD Services, Mike works alongside his wife, Trudy, to provide specialist counselling for individuals, families, and neurodivergent clients. His background in addiction recovery, conflict resolution, and relationship counselling enhances his ability to hold space for grief in all its forms, ensuring clients feel truly understood.

Mike is also a lifelong animal lover, sharing his home with two dogs, two cats, seven turtles, a pond full of fish, and a yabbie tank. His deep connection with animals allows him to truly understand the pain of losing a cherished pet, making his approach to pet bereavement counselling both deeply personal and professionally guided.

In addition to his work with pet bereavement, Mike founded the Dads of Aspies website, a supportive resource for fathers raising children on the autism spectrum. His dedication to supporting others through life's most difficult moments is at the heart of everything he does. At Forever Loved by Repploy, Mike offers a gentle and understanding approach to grief, helping pet owners process their loss and find comfort in the enduring love they shared with their cherished companion.
